As a grassroots movement deeply rooted in our community, our mission is to revitalize downtown San Bruno through enhancement projects that will increase its charm and vibrancy.

By nurturing collaborations with business owners, community members, and policymakers we will restore and elevate the heart of our city.

  • Beautification of the Downtown Corridor

    The group aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the downtown area through various small-scale initiatives, possibly including landscaping, street furniture, and cleanliness projects.

  • Mural Project Initiative

    The group plans to fundraise to support the creation and installation of public art, particularly murals. This initiative not only adds visual interest to the downtown area but also supports the broader art community.

  • Family-centric Events

    By organizing events tailored to families, the group aims to attract people to the downtown area, fostering a sense of community and vibrancy. These events could include festivals, markets, or performances, providing entertainment and opportunities for social interaction.

We're excited to kick off our Pop-Up Partner Series:
a fun and meaningful collaboration between downtown San Bruno shops and an incredible lineup of Bay Area vendors!

This unique event features in-store pop-ups, where makers set up inside participating small businesses, and in some cases, right outside storefronts where space allows. It’s a fun and inspiring way to explore our downtown, discover new favorites, and support a shared vision for our community.

When you Pop Up for a Purpose, you're helping us beautify our city. All vendor registration fees go directly toward funding our community mural project - a lasting symbol of pride and connection for San Bruno.
